Nursery Ideas

I decided that I should start collecting all of my random nursery ideas and start putting together a plan for what I want to do in the nursery. Once we find out the gender of our little peanut I want to get the big/basic items picked out so I can focus on accessorizing!!! We have an appointment at fetal studios on Monday June 30th to find out the gender, then I have a Dr.'s appointment on July 18th and he was going to try and peak at the gender/confirm. I don't think I'll start buying anything until after my July appointment - just to be sure.

My nursery ideas for a girl and boy are totally different. For a little girl I like pastel colors, flowing fabrics and of course a chandelier, with all white furniture!!! For a little boy I like rustic, cowboy theme and dark woods for the furniture.

I would love if I could find items that I could refurbish and make unique for my baby. Especially after looking at the prices for nursery furniture - it's outrageous!!

Girl Nursery Ideas:

I love how soft and relaxing this nursery is - I think I would throw in some pink and gray for a splash of color.

I just love how dreamy all of these nurseries look. They look like they are straight out of a fairytale.

Hello dreamy ceiling! I'm slightly obsessed with this. I of course would want them to be on a dimmer. I may need to talk to the hubs about this (he's an electrcian) and see what we can come up :)

Boy Nursery Ideas:

I love every part of this room!!! I am in love with the furniture and how the wood looks refurbished and antiqued along with the soft neutral colors.

I love the furniture in this room - I would of course make it a little more rustic and throw in that little cowboy touch :)

 I don't like the white furniture but I do love the wood behind the crib!

I'm going to be searching for furniture for the nursery on craigslist and KSL that can be refurbished, if you find any or know of anyone who is selling or wanting to get rid of furniture - let me know :)

Week 13

How far along? 13 Weeks, 3 Days
Total weight gain/loss: 4 lbs
Maternity clothes? 1 pair of maternity leggings and 1 maternity tank top from Target Stretch marks? No, and I'm hoping this will be the answer every time :)
Sleep: Sleeping okay, minus the constant peeing in the middle of the night!
Best moment this week: Getting a prescription to help with these horrible migraines I have been getting
Have you told family and friends: Yes!
Miss Anything? Sushi, COFFEE!! I sure miss having my energy as well - I could literally sleep all day!
Movement: Not yet... Hopefully SOON!
Food cravings: Sweets, sweets and more sweets! Oh and did I mention sweets!!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing so far - I have been really lucky
Have you started to show yet: A little bump, it gets much bigger at the end of the day! Gender prediction: I honestly have no idea
Labor Signs: No
Belly Button in or out: In
Wedding rings on or off: On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy!
Looking forward to: Finding out the gender of our little peanut!

We are having a baby!

You heard right everyone!!

We are expecting our first sweet little baby, and could not be more excited!!!

As of today I am 11 weeks and 6 days pregnant.

Our little peanuts is expected to arrive on December 28, 2014. Which means mommy and daddy might not be home for Christmas.
